[44CON] The Darling Bugs Of May
The 44CON CFP is in full swing. We've had some amazing submissions so far, but we're still looking for more. Our CFP closes at 6pm BST on the 31st of May, after which the CFP panel and crew will start whittling down the submissions.
As always, an accepted talk includes free access to the conference, transport and accommodation (for those more than an hour outside of London), so get yer talk in here , but don't forget to brush up on how to game the CFP first.
Meanwhile, on the Website
Network forensics specialist Erik Hjelmvik wrote a blog post about his upcoming 44CON training course this September that's well worth a read, especially if you're thinking about training and are looking for an awesome blue team oriented course.
We have a great selection of training courses this year, from the Web and Mobile Application Hacker's Handbook through to new courses on extending Burp suite, ARM-based IoT memory corruption techniques and more!
Last Year's Badge Goes 1.0
If you came to 44CON last year, you'll have a shiny wee red badge, which if lovingly soldered together turns into a prototype hardware hacking tool called the HIDIOT. Well, not to be outdone, Steve has taken his prototype and is launching 1.0 through a Kickstarter .
While there are differences between the badge and the final product, the two are fully compatible with each other. If you've got 0day hardware you may as well flaunt it. The project's growing documentation will help you get the most from your badge.
