Vicious Party Rumours, Training, Exhibitors and more...
It's been a while and a lot has happened but we're finally hitting the home stretch. As we get closer to the main event we're going to increase the volume of mails to a more regular basis. If it gets too much, please let us know.
Rumours, Damned Rumours and MWRLabs
Some of you may have heard vicious rumours that MWRLabs are running an official party on the Thursday night at the venue. We only felt it was fair that we told you the truth. In fact, MWRLabs are running an official party on the Thursday night at the venue! Details will be in the programme, but an anonymous northern simian source informed us that the party will be off the following: the hook, the chain, the charts, the grid, and most importantly, the wagon. Also, the 44Con MWRLabs CFP is back! We have a host of prizes lined up with some seriously hardcore challenges courtest of the 44Con Networking crew. If you think you can beat 'em, there's booty to be had (no breaking into the ops room this time please!).
Our Final Training Course is Up
It took a while to get the paperwork sorted but our final training course is now up. McAfee's Malware Forensics & Incident Response: 44Con Edition course takes you from zero to hero at Incident Response. Learn how to handle evidence, conduct an investigation, analyse malware and more, then on day 2 go through an actual analysis involving 0day malware! As you can imagine, the ever popular WAHHv2 training from MDSec is selling like hot cakes, but with Marc Heuse's IPv6 security training, Sensepost's Hacking By Numbers: BlackOps and Vivek Ramachandran's Hacking With Python courses there's some stiff competition. Places are limited so you're advised to book early, for bookings of 5 or more, please contact us. Please note that unlike last year, training does not include conference tickets. To be clear: if you want to come to the conference you'll have to buy separate conference tickets. This keeps prices low for those that just want to attend training.
Watch Out For Our Exhibitors!
This year we've tried to reduce our sponsorship options to a minimum in order to give smaller organisations a bigger break. We've been talking to various organisations who are interested in exhibiting at 44Con, so keep an eye out, they'll be up any minute now!
Kind Regards,
Adrian and Steve
