[44CON Announce] 44CON 2023 Talks and Workshops
View this email in your browser
Hi!
The CFP team (huge thanks to them) have been working for the past few weeks assessing and rating the huge number of submissions for this year's 44CON.
The overall quality of talks is up. We feel that this is the strongest ‘track 1’ for many years.
This isn’t the whole story. This is the first phase of reviews. We will be announcing more talks next week.
We must thank everyone who took the time to submit a talk and/or a workshop. It really is appreciated. We’re in the process of sending emails to all who submitted and in the next couple of weeks what’s happening at 44CON 2023 will be clear.
With no further delay, here are some of the talks and workshops that have been accepted (and speaker contracts signed!)

-
Uncursing the ncurses – Emanuele Cozzi
-
Sleeping With One AI Open: An Introduction to Attacks Against Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning – Marta Janus & Eoin Wickens

We will have a draft schedule up by the end of this month.
We can confirm that “Threat Condition” is coming back this time on the Wednesday night AND the Thursday night - more about this later - it was full last year and there will be limited capacity this year.
44CON 2023 Training
As you know 44CON has done training as part of the September 44CON week since 2011 - why? It helps pay for the event. Without it your ticket price would be higher.
