[44CON Announce] 44CON 2023 Important Update

Important News
This is really important. If you turn up at the ILEC for 44CON 2023, we’re not going to be there.
Really.
After protracted negociations we discovered that all the old team we worked with have left and there was a significant price jump.
The good news is we’re not too far away – if anything access is better.
44CON 2023 will be taking place at the Novotel London West.
This is a short walk from both Hammersmith tube stations and directly off the A4.
Some of you may know this venue already: we’ve been running training there for a few years and ran 44CONNECT there in December 2019.
It is bigger and everything will be on the same level.
No more going upstairs for workshops!
We are very excited about it – the operations team at the venue has a great reputation for being good to work with.
44CON 2023 Community evening
We’ve decided to bring the Community evening back.
The 44CON Community evening is a free Wednesday night event that is open to all.
Important: Main event tickets include access to the community evening – you do not need to register for it.
If you're not coming to the main event you will be able register for a free ticket in the coming months.
Doors will open at 5pm, and so will the bar and coffee.
At 6pm we will have a brief welcome and intro before we start with some talks with the first one being a Keynote by Wendy Nather (Cisco).
We’re going to be having some talks and there will be other things to do. That will be detailed later.

Call for Papers
The Call for Papers is open and will close on 31st May.

Tickets
There are a *few* Early Birds tickets left, and you can now book a hotel room with your ticket and these are at excellent prices – booking direct you will pay a lot more.
